It's pretty cool to be a member especially since that wasn't in the stars before DSF membership now recognizes a much broader range of contributions to Django, as my contributions to the community did not include code. Of course, the latter has also since been changed thanks to the Djangonaut Space program.
I will await further briefing from the mothership about joining the DSF and update my websites later. For now, I'll enjoy my new bright green-colored username on the Django Discord server. 💚
